Automatic chat translation

The Operator Console, starting from version 7.2.3, fully supports automatic chat translation feature.

If enabled in the account settings, the translation block appears in the console sidebar. When the first visitor message is sent in a language that requires translation (as specified in the account settings), translation is enabled automatically from the first chat message. If there is no initial message in the chat or the message is in a language that doesn't require translation, the chat agent can manually select the visitor's language and enable translation.

Automatic chat translation can be enabled or disabled at any time during a chat. For example, you may want to disable it when sending code snippets, addresses, or other text that should remain unchanged.
